Spruce cut and more tree work.
Cut down a large conifer yesterday. A special case, because he suffered from disproportionate light loss due to a huge beech tree. As a result, this conifer had become unbalanced and had become completely crooked, away from the large beech, towards the house. It was very clear that there were fewer and much smaller branches on the side of the beech tree and many and longer branches on the light side, above the house. This created a dangerous situation in which the tree could break or fall on the house due to wind or snow loads. Using our climbing techniques, this tree was removed safely and carefully.
Here I am almost at the top. It can also be seen here that the branches on the left are small and sparse and the branches on the right are large and long. When all side branches have been removed, the "blocking off" of the trunk begins. It is sawn off in parts from top to bottom and thrown exactly into the fall zone.
